Before you begin
- Use only a clean container designed to withstand the heat of a candle.
- Completely remove any remaining wax and old wicks.
- Wash the container thoroughly, then allow it to dry completely before refilling.
How to Proceed
- Determine the amount of wax needed by filling your container with water and measuring the volume.
- Secure the wicks to the bottom of the container using the adhesive wick stickers. Each wick covers a diameter of approximately 3 inches. For wick placement, please refer to the video demonstration. The wicks provided are suitable for most GOODMOOD containers. Performance may vary depending on the shape, diameter, and depth of the container used.
- Melt the wax in the microwave using a heat-resistant glass container, or use a double boiler. Heat gradually to avoid overheating. Allow the wax to cool slightly before pouring.
- Pour the melted wax very slowly into the prepared container. Straighten the wicks after a few minutes if necessary. Allow the candle to harden for 24 hours before lighting it. Then trim the wicks to approximately 1/4 in (6 mm).

Candle Care
To ensure your candle burns evenly until the end, keep it lit until the entire surface is liquid (which can take 2 to 4 hours depending on the size). If you extinguish it too early, the candle may tunnel, leading to uneven and incomplete wax combustion, thus limiting its burn time and causing the wick to extinguish prematurely.
Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
Always trim the wick before each use (to 1/4 inch above the wax surface for cotton wicks and 1/8 inch for wood wicks) – a wick that is too long or too short can cause premature extinguishing. If there is an accumulation of ash at the end of the wick, remove it, along with any matchstick fragments, burnt wick pieces, or other debris in the wax, before lighting the candle.
